Johnson Controls Purchases 57+ Acre Industrial Land At Stonebridge Business Center

YORK, Pa.—July 2013—Johnson Controls purchased industrial zoned land in the Stonebridge Business Park in southern York County for their new engineering and testing complex that will employ 450 people.  Stewart Properties worked with Rock Commercial Real Estate in the sale of the 57 acre tract for $5,704,000.

This project also comprised a stellar team capable of coordinating such a complex deal.  Beyond the normal coordination of buyers and sellers, projects of this magnitude involve additional layers such as state and local governments, economic development agencies, utility providers, and site development costs.

Gary Stewart, Jr., President of Stewart Properties remarked, “The combination of our experience in land development, our sister company Stewart & Tate Construction, and ROCK in commercial real estate provides us with the capability of seamless delivery of projects for both smaller and major corporations.”
